Livewire is supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Clever Networks program. Clever Networks is a program of the Australian Government Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy. The Clever Networks program delivers innovative broadband services to communities in regional, rural and remote Australia.

Optus

Optus is a leader in integrated communications - serving more than eight million customers each day.

Optus is the exclusive telecommunications partner of Livewire.  By providing their funding, technology, products and services, Optus is supporting Livewire help connect and reduce the social isolation of young people living with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability.  Optus is supporting both the rollout of Livewire's Bedside Access Program to 26 metropolitan and regional hospitals and the Livewire Mobile site enabling young people to stay connected to Livewire from any compatible mobile phone, no matter where they are. Optus has also funded the development of the Livewire Diaries - a series of 5 short documentaries featuring Livewire members who are sharing their experiences and how the Livewire program is helping them.
