Affiliate Partners

It was always envisaged that the Livewire initiative would become a sector-wide platform - ie, other not for profit organisations could use Livewire to deliver information and services to their members. The Affiliate Partner Program is designed to engage and acknowledge third-party organisations for their support. Bilateral partnerships are mutually beneficial and are focused on extending the services and reach of both partners.

	Arthritis Queensland Arthritis Queensland is a non-profit organisation, helping those living with the conditions of arthritis and osteoporosis.
	Association for the Welfare of Children in Healthcare AWCH AWCH is a national, non-profit organisation working to ensure the emotional and social needs of children, adolescents and their families are recognised and met within hospitals and the health care system in Australia.
	Australian Paralympic Committee Originally formed by its members in 1990 as the Australian Paralympic Federation, the Australian Paralympic Committee (APC) is the peak national body responsible for Australia’s elite athletes with a disability.
	Australian Communication Exchange Offers Deaf, communication impaired, hearing impaired and hearing people communication services and products.
	Autism Spectrum Australia - ASPECT Aspect is the country's largest not-for-profit autism specific service provider. Aspect aims to build confidence and capacity in people with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), their families and communities by providing information, education and other services.
	Basketball Victoria Basketball Victoria, a not-for-profit organisation, is the governing body for the sport of basketball in Victoria.
	Better Health Channel The Better Health Channel is Australia's most popular health information website. It has a focus on providing health, medical and lifestyle information for consumers in an easy to understand format and language.
	Carers QLD Carers Queensland is the statewide voice for family carers, representing and providing support to carers in Queensland.
	Cerebral Palsy League For more than 60 years the Cerebral Palsy League has provided vital services to help people with physical disabilities live an everyday life. Our vision is for all people with disabilities to be able to lead valued lives as respected and equal member of the community. With your support we can make this a reality.
	Cerebral Palsy Support Network The Cerebral Palsy Support Network provides information, support and resources to children and adults with cerebral palsy and their families in Victoria.
	ChIPs - Chronic Illness Peer Support VIC ChIPS is a program for 12-25 year olds living with Chronic Illness to provide support for the emotional impact of living with a chronic illness.
	Cystic Fibrosis QLD Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Ltd (CFQ) is a not-for-profit charitable organisation which provides counselling and support services to over 700 Queenslanders affected by cystic fibrosis and their families.
	Cystic Fibrosis VIC CFV provides advocacy, support and information services to people living with CF and their families
	Cystic Fibrosis WA CFWA aims to contribute to the social, physical and emotional well-being of those affected by CF and to assist in the promotion of research.
	Day of Difference Day of Difference Foundation is a national children's charity founded in 2004 by the parents of Sophie Delezio. Day of Difference raises funds for much needed hospital equipment and facilities to save children’s lives. It funds research into burns and skin technology and supports critically injured children and their families on their journey from emergency to recovery.
	Diabetes Australia Diabetes Australia is the national peak body for diabetes in Australia providing a single, powerful, collective voice for people living with diabetes, their families and carers. See also MyD - a site specifically for 16 to 25 year olds.
	Diabetes Tasmania Diabetes TASMANIA aims to improve the health outcomes of people with diabetes and to improve the quality of life for people with diabetes and their families and carers.
	Down Syndrome Association of Queensland The Mission of the DSAQ Inc. is to support, advocate for and empower Queensland children and adults with Down syndrome so they can be valued and contributing members of the community, as is their right.
	Duchenne Foundation The Duchenne Foundation is the only national non-profit specifically for Australian families affectedby Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
	Epilepsy Action Australia Education and support services to children and adults with epilepsy or other seizure disorders across Australia.
	Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria The Epilepsy Foundation of Victoria is Victoria’s major consumer support agency for all people affected by epilepsy.
	Haemophilia Foundation Australia HFA represents people with inherited bleeding disorders and their families.
	HeartKids HeartKids strive to offer support, encouragement and hope to families of children with Heart Disease, while raising awareness and vital funding into the causes of this chronic disease.
	Montrose MontroseAccess provides respite and therapy services to hundreds of Queensland children and young adults with physical disabilities.
	Muscular Dystrophy NSW Muscular Dystrophy Association of NSW (MDNSW) serves and supports people with neuromuscular disorders.
	Muscular Dystrophy QLD The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Queensland assists and supports individuals, carers and families living with Muscular Dystrophy and Neuromuscular Disorders.
	National Disability Coordination Officer Program The Western Sydney NDCO program works to improve the transition and participation of people with disabilities or chronic medical conditions into post-school education, training and employment and is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).
	Northcott Disability Services Northcott Disability Services provides support and services to more than 6000 people with disabilities, their families and carers across the ACT and NSW.
	Novita SA Novita provides therapy, equipment and home support services to children and young people with disability, as well as inclusion support to child care services in northern and western country regions of South Australia.
	NSW Council for Intellectual Disability The NSW Council for Intellectual Disability (NSW CID) is a peak body representing the rights and interests of people with intellectual disability in NSW.
	Ozchild OzChild is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to enhance the opportunities and well being of children and young people especially those who are disadvantaged or at risk.
	Purple Soup Purple Soup aims to provide challenging activity based programs for people affected by serious illness. Purple Soup understands that it is not just the person with an illness that is affected by their condition, but often the family that feel the rippling effects of illness.
	Rocky Bay WA Rocky Bay provides a range of services and support to 1000 children (and their families) and over 500 adults living with disabilities in the Perth metropolitan area. Services include various accommodation options, employment services, respite, holiday and weekend programs and a range of therapy programs.
	Royal Children's Hospital Foundation The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation, QLD works wonders for sick kids by investing in ground breaking research to find faster diagnoses, better treatments and ultimately cures.
	St Giles St Giles was founded in 1937 by the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and City of Launceston to provide aftercare support for children affected by polio. Today St Giles provides quality services for up to 2500 Tasmanian children and adults with disabilities - to enhance their independence and community participation.
	SANE SANE Australia is a national charity working for a better life for people affected by mental illness through campaigning, education and research.
	Share Care Share Care Inc. is a not for profit organisation providing temporary respite to families with a child or young person with a disability in the Liverpool, Fairfield and Bankstown Local Government Areas.
	Smile Foundation The Smile Foundation's mission is to support research into the diagnosis, treatment and/or cure for rare childhood diseases or conditions and to help afflicted families.
	The Spastic Centre NSW For over 60 years The Spastic Centre has provided services for children and young people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities across New South Wales and the ACT.
	Special Olympics Australia The not-for-profit organisation that transforms the lives of people with intellectual disability through year-round sports participation.
	Tascare Society for Children Aims to create a positive image for, and to promote the achievements of, children and young adults with disabilities.
	Very Special Kids Very Special Kids is a unique organisation that supports families throughout their experience of caring for children with life-threatening illnesses, from diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement.
	VEWSA The Victorian Electric Wheelchair Sports Association, provides sporting and recreational activities for children and adults who require the use of electric wheelchairs for personal independence and functional mobility.
