8 Men in a Boat cross the finish line – help them meet their target of 50K!

Last year 8 amazing men decided to take on the challenge of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht race. They chose to use the race to rally support and raise money for a cause – to connect young people living with a serious illness, chronic health condition or disability on Livewire.

They renamed their 37 ft sailing boat Livewire.org.au and set themselves the challenge of raising $50,000 for Livewire.

They arrived safely in Hobart on 31 December 2009. Congratulations to all the crew for completing an inspiring journey!

Livewire members followed the crew's journey in Livewire through checking out daily updates, photos and blogs supplied by the crew straight from the boat.

The crew have so far raised almost $44,000 which is an outstanding effort! Help them get to $50,000 by donating now.
